We had a great stay at Maritim Hotel! The location is excellent, and with the Booking.com discount, the value for money was fantastic. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was enjoyable—especially with the lovely view of squirrels playing outside through the window. However, there was a small but strange situation during check-in. While waiting in line, we noticed that everyone ahead of us was receiving a welcome bottle of water, but we weren’t given one. When we later inquired whether our booking type was different, another receptionist kindly provided us not only with water but also cold tea for our child, which was a very thoughtful gesture. It’s a small detail, but details matter, especially for such a renowned hotel chain like Maritim. Overall, our experience was very positive, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Every member of the staff was kind, helpful, and attentive. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with hot water in the shower available at all times. We traveled around Germany and stayed in 4 different hotels. Maritim was our favorite. The decor might be a little outdated, but it actually adds a certain charm to the hotel. If you are traveling as a family of four, this is the best choice. This was the only hotel where we felt truly comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean, with large, comfortable beds. The breakfasts were amazing. The Piano Bar was fantastic. We especially want to thank the lovely girl at the reception desk, unfortunately we don’t know her name, but we do know she is from Turkmenistan. Thank you so much!

Hotel Breakfast is probably one of the best I've had. massive dinning room with fast and courteous staff. never a problem locating a free table even at its busiest times. Piano bar is luxurious with fine selection of drinks. All staff/team could not do enough to help us enjoy our stay. numerous languages spoken by all staff. Bars, restaurants, large convivence store, trains all within 3-5 mins walk. The hotel has its own taxi stand, always manned. trams/trains are cheap and often.

There are shopping and tourist attractions within walking distance. The rooms are large and spacious. The ventilation and heating system was adequate. the bathroom was clean and modern. With a special request, I preferred a room with a bathtub. My request was met by the hotel customer service. It was a comfortable and pleasant experience.
